Nookli ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Atomikon Industries, provides a household inventory, storage bin tracking, and shared shopping list platform (`com.atomikon.nookli`).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Your email address, display name, and a bcrypt-hashed password when you register an account.
Household & Inventory Data: Household names, storage locations/bins, inventory items, stock quantities, and shopping list items you create or share with household members.
Optional Photos & Camera/NFC Usage: If you choose to attach a photo to an item or storage bin, the image is uploaded to our secure object storage (Cloudflare R2). Camera access is used only when you scan QR codes, retail barcodes, or capture item photos. NFC is used only when you scan or write optional shelf tags.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly to authenticate your session, synchronize household inventory and shopping lists across your devices and invited household members in real time, and display your uploaded item/bin photos. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
3. Data Retention & Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your account at any time either directly inside the Nookli mobile app (Households → Delete Account) or on the web at /delete-account.
When you delete your account, your user profile and session tokens are immediately and permanently deleted.
Any households in which you are the sole member (along with their locations, items, and shopping lists) are permanently deleted.
For shared households that still have other members, the shared household remains intact for the remaining members, and ownership is automatically transferred to the next member if you were the owner.
